"Tempers Ready, Prepare to fly"

Hello blogging world i have returned! After a long layoff and constant reminders from Derrick, I've risen from the dead. So let's see… since the last time I blogged, i was laid off from Myspace, job hunting and interviewing for 2 months. So i should fill you in on what's new. First, i did manage to find a new job. I now work at Rhapsody. Working on their iPhone application. So far the place is awesome. It's a smaller company yet somewhat well known. A few of my friends actually have Rhapsody accounts. It's only one floor at the City Centre building in downtown Seattle. I get to work with the iPhone and listen to music all day…not too shabby.

Home Front - Those who don't know, Jen moved in with me which is awesome. We're still in the process of moving her things in and rearranging the apt. Looks like a hurricane swept thru right now but, we're working on it and i can't wait to see how she "classes" up the place. I recently adopted a new cat named "Kiwi". She's a young Calico cat with a half AND crooked tail with a "i'm gonna kill you" look on her face. PRICELESS.

DJ Life - All has been set up and working well. Still practicing haven't made any mixes of late due to not having any recording equipment anymore. Soon though. Still collaborating with Ryan over Dropbox… Dropbox DJs… sharing mixes and gems we've heard or like. I'm going to be going to DJ workshops they run at "The Chapel" in Cap Hill. Heard it's a great place to network/share/mix with local Seattle DJs that run every Sunday. They even have an "open mic" night on Sunday as well where anyone can just hop on the ONE'S AND TWO'S. Should be fun.

More recent news - Started lots of various projects including a SUPER SECRET one with my brothers in arms Derrick, Kage, Phil and Tommy. All will be revealed in due time. Finally got a new DSLR Canon T3i which everyone else i've noticed has… Derrick, Kevin, Jenine. But hey, the camera is dope for the price. Figured i'd catch up/re-learn photography since it has sparked again for me. All in all, it's been a crazy, hectic, rewarding, fun filled few months since i last blogged.

To be continued...

New Year... New Office

Happy New Years everyone! Today is my first FULL day here at Myspace Seattle. Left the sunny southern california coast for the 27 degree… but clear skies of Seattle. Thought i’d share my new work home…

New day... new city

Well… after months of planning and flying back n forth racking up those frequent flyer miles, i’m finally in Seattle. Moved in to my new place and got my internet and cable hooked up…but, my things won’t arrive until the 30th. There was a mix up with the dates that Door To Door storage gave me. So i’m stuck here with no furniture, tv, etc. But, like i said there’s internet annnnnd my floor heater. Baby steps…

I know I know... you all don't use My____ (Myspace) anymore but since i WORK at My____... yes i still work there... for the mobile (iPhone and Android apps) products, I thought i'd share what the new website looks like. As you see, the logo has changed and it's not longer a "social networking" site. It's a "Social Entertainment" site. You can sync everything to you Facebook and Twitter to keep everyone informed on your doings and findings. I personally feel real good about the new things we're doing. New look, feel, ways to discover videos, music anything within the entertainment realm. It's not available to everyone just yet but hopefully your profile does have it. Take a look, let me know what you think.

Pixel Art

Those of you who are into Design, Pixel art or just simply likes decorating their place with new and fresh things, need to check out this site. The company is called Pixels XL. They’re from Valencia, Spain. Anyone who knows or has seen pixel art would appreciate this. They have a simple system of tiles that you can place on the wall for you to come up with crazy designs or portraits… anything that comes out of your artistic side. The great thing is… that they’re removable. But, you have to have a wall that has primer or has some magnetic material built in.
